Yosemite National Park, California is a famous World Heritage site, famous for its striking granite cliffs, giant Sequoia trees, brilliant waterfalls and biodiversity. Over 3. 8 million people visit Yosemite each year, but most of them limit their visits to the famous and overcrowded Yosemite Valley. For the privileged few who are eager to discover the heart of the desert, there are superb views and breathtaking experience just around the corner.
There are two bits of information for anyone visiting the Yosemite Valley. Firstly, the region is very large. Yosemite National Park is over 3000 km wide. So if you plan a day trip, select the type of trip you want, whether it is tourism, hiking, biking and bird watching. Secondly, there is no “best” time to visit the park. It all boils down to what you’re looking for. The weather varies considerably, which radically changes the landscape from season to season. However, spring is considered the most beautiful season of the year to see the vegetation flourishing in all its splendor. In winter, there are accessibility issues to fight. The Yosemite Valley is open all year, but much of the rest of the park remains closed during the winter months due to snow.
